At ECCO, Design is a framework of change that is used to solve some of our world's most challenging problems. Design Thinking involves finding simple solutions that make our products more "desirable", technically "feasible" and economically "viable".
We follow a heuristic approach where we prioritize insights from the users, technology and the marketplace in order to translate them into simple solutions. We take into consideration human behaviour & needs and translate them into viable products that enhance and touch lives by enabling equitable opportunities. While designing our products we understand our users, and then build products around their requirements, limitations and their integrated ecosystem. This allows us to understand the nuances of user needs which we then translate into Product Design, Technology Solutions, Marketing Ideas and Sales & Distribution processes that offer compelling reasons for our users to buy our products.
ECCODIVA, one of our first few products is designed based on these values. It is clever, playful, portable, delightful and above all, a multipurpose light. ECCODIVA is an energy efficient multipurpose solar light that houses the battery, electronics and the Light Unit in such a way which makes it simple and user friendly. The simplicity and re-configurability of the form enables multiple uses.
This clever aspect of the design engages the user and inspires a sense of trust and respect which forms the foundation that ECCO is built on as a global brand. The innovative design is complimented with cutting edge patent pending technology in power conversion and LED drive and highly efficient Optics to produce an extremely efficient Solar based Multipurpose LED lamp.
